JUSTIN HOLL Minnetonka, defenseman, senior

Stood out on a team with three Division I defensemen. Capable of controlling play at both ends of the ice. Scored 19 goals and added 15 assists. Scored seven goals total in three games against Edina and Duluth East. Committed to the Gophers, but he might play a year of juniors.

BODHI ENGUM Burnsville, goalie, junior

A veteran coach called Engum "the best goalie I have seen for several years." He finished 13-6-2, stopped 93 percent of the shots he faced, gave up 1.82 goals per game and posted six shutouts. Quick, agile and great with the glove.

KYLE RAU Eden Prairie, forward, junior

Rau used his quickness and skill to make plays on both ends of the ice. He led the defending Class 2A state champion Eagles with 40 goals and 41 assists. One Lake Conference coach called Rau "the only forward who can truly steal a game."

NICK BJUGSTAD Blaine, forward, senior

Projected as a first-round NHL draft pick in June. Possesses all the tools: size (6-5, 190), speed, stick handling and shot. Amassed 35 goals and 34 assists heading into state tournament. Bjugstad, who would have been a junior, accelerated his education to graduate this spring and will play for the Gophers this fall.

MAX GARDINER Minnetonka, forward, senior

A big forward who can bruise you along the boards or feather a pass to a teammate. The Gophers recruit missed eight games because of a broken wrist but still recorded 19 goals and 30 assists.

JOE FAUST Bloomington Jefferson, defenseman, senior

A clutch performer, Faust scored the overtime winner against Burnsville in the Section 2 semifinals. Keen offensive instincts and deft passing resulted in 14 goals and 32 assists. Heading east to play college hockey at Princeton.
