Junior goaltender Samantha Geissler made 25 saves for the shutout.
• MOUND-WESTONKA 2, ORONO 1: Freshman Jessica Nkhata's goal early in the second period stood up as the game-winner as the Class 1A, No. 5 White Hawks edged the Spartans in the Mississippi 8. The victory gave Mound-Westonka a share of the conference championship with North Wright County.
• WAYZATA 3, DULUTH 2 (OT): The Trojans ended their regular season on a winning note when senior Jenny Saxon scored her 25th goal of the season 2 minutes, 24 seconds into overtime against Duluth.
BOYS' BASKETBALL Cooper ends Buffalo's winning streak • COOPER 67, BUFFALO 55: The Class 4A, No. 9 Hawks used a big second half, scoring 40 points, to break the Bison winning streak at 10 games in the 10th annual Pat Sonju memorial game. Buffalo led 29-27 at halftime. Junior guard Terrace Averyheart and senior forward Darry Jones each had 17 points for Cooper. The Bison were led by senior forward Aaron Duske, who had 15 points.

• MINNESOTA TRANSITIONS 122, RED LAKE 95: Senior forward Kevin Noreen had 55 points, including 18 consecutive free throws to ice the Wolves' victory over the Warriors in a nonconference matchup. Kevin's younger brother, Kyle, had 28 points and 13 assists.
GIRLS' BASKETBALL Junior's big game lifts Henry Sibley • HENRY SIBLEY 64, HERMANTOWN 53: Junior forward Jessica Kreuser had a double-double (19 points and 15 rebounds), leading the Warriors past the Hawks in nonconference play. Senior forward Lauren Turitto scored a game-high 21 points for the Warriors.
